The City of Loveland Community Partnership Office (CPO) supports and enhances community well-being by collaborating with local nonprofit organizations, social service agencies, and community groups to evaluate community needs and administer funding to in support of critical needs.

The following are essential functions of the Community Partnership Office:

  • Administers local and federal grants, including Community Development Block Grants (CDBG), and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Maintains and administers the Consolidated Plan which guides how the City allocates federal funding from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in support of affordable housing 
  • Serves as the liaison to the Affordable Housing Commission which allocates CDBG funding for brick / mortar projects, and the Human Services Commission which allocates CDBG funding for services
  • Works closely with the Loveland Housing Authority
  • Administers and implements development and permit fee adjustments for affordable housing developments
  • Advocates for policies and initiatives that enhance the quality of life for vulnerable populations, including those who are unhoused
  • Operates the Loveland Resource Center
